The Enterprise AID methodology: Concepts
نویسندگان
چکیده
The Enterprise AID for assessment, improvement, and design methodology is a systems science-, operational test and evaluation-, and multicriteria decision analysis-based approach to design and deployment of performance measurement systems (PMSs) tailored to specific enterprises pursuing any or all of enterprise assessment, improvement, or design. Its two phases of design and deployment sprang from designers’ inductively generated and now prototyped response to a gap they recognized between performance measurement capabilities required by contemporary enterprises and those offered by contemporary PMSs. This paper illustrates key concepts underlying AID, while a companion document, The Enterprise AID methodology: Application, draws from a prototyping effort to identify value to be gained by stakeholders from PMSs designed and deployed with methodology application. © 2013 The Authors. Within the frame of the GERAM (Generalised Enterprise Reference Architecture and Methodology) developed by the IFAC/IFIP Task on Architecture for Enterprise integration, this paper presents a preliminary approach for the development of an Enterprise Engineering Methodology (EEM). The approach is currently limited to Entity requirements and Entity design phases of the GERA (Generic Enterprise Re...
متن کاملUse of GERAM as Basis for a Virtual Enterprise Framework Model
bstract: In the IMS-project Globeman21, the enterprise reference architecture GERAM was used as basis for creation of a virtual enterprise framework model. The model was used to map different industrial pilot projects, to classify virtual enterprise concepts, and as underlying structure for a virtual enterprise management methodology. The paper gives a survey of the use of GERAM and the results...
متن کاملA Fuzzy Decision Making Approach to Enterprise Resource Planning System Selection
Here, we propose a fuzzy analytic hierarchy process (FAHP) method to evaluate the alternatives of enterprise resource planning (ERP) system. The fuzzy AHP approach allows the users get values more accurately to model the vagueness which changes according subjective ideas in the decision-making environment for ERP system selection problem. Therefore, fuzzy AHP method is used to obtain firm decis...

DEMO (design and engineering methodology for organization) is a theoretically grounded methodology for rigorous enterprise modeling. It provides relevant concepts from a construction perspective. As the methodology gains a wider audience, there is a growing interest in simulating DEMO models. Most attempts to develop a simulation approach for enterprise models in general, and the DEMO methodolo...
